• How can I schedule to view one of the properties you have listed?

You can view any of our properties by scheduling an appointment with Johnny. Simply email Johnny@gladheartrealty.com with the address of the property you are interested in and your contact information. There is a calendar that can be viewed for every property, showing Johnny’s availability. To ensure a showing, please give 48 hours notice to schedule an appointment.

• Do you have any other properties besides the ones listed here?

All of our rental properties are listed on the website and every effort is made to update our website on a regular basis. We do receive new inventory weekly, so be sure to check back if you don’t see anything that interest you. Even if you do not see a property you are interested in, feel free to contact us. If we know what you are looking for, then we can keep you in mind as new properties come available.

• What do I need to secure a property I like?

No rental agreement is secure without a signed lease and deposit. If you see a property you are interested in, contact us at johnny@gladheartrealty.com as soon as possible to start this process.

• Do you have nightly or weekly rentals?

•  What is the average cost of rental properties in the Kansas City area?

Rental properties vary depending on size and location. A 3 bedroom house averages $800-$900 a month, and a 5 bedroom house averages $1,200-$1,500 a month.

• I am not planning to move for a few months but I see a property on the website I’m interested. Will it still be available later?

Rentals tend to go quickly, so it’s best to view our inventory regulary. If you find something you like, please email us and we will see if the landlord is willing to hold the property for your desired move-in date for the deposit.

• How early should I start looking?

Two-months ahead is usually enough time.

• Will my lack of (good) credit affect my ability to rent a property?

Different landlords have different requirements. Don’t let your bad credit/no credit stop you from contacting us. Our goal is to help you find a place that best suits you and your needs.

• What if I have questions about a listed property, or anything else?

• Will I be charged a fee for Glad Heart to find a rental property?

No, you do not pay us for our service. However, there is a $30 application fee due at the time your application is submitted. This covers the cost of a credit/background check. No other fee will be charged for using our services.

• I am a landlord and would like to rent my property through GHR. What steps do I need to take?
